Ayuda is a non-profit organization established in 1973 that serves the immigrant community in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia. It provides legal, social, and language services to vulnerable, low-income immigrants in our neighborhoods. Ayuda and its partners provide resources for individuals who would otherwise find themselves defenseless and neglected.

Krum Gergely & Oates, LLC is proud to support Ayuda. Today more than ever, our immigrant community needs help navigating the current social and political climate. Many of our clients are helped by Ayuda’s presence; individuals who find themselves in situations without the means necessary to support their families and feel protected within their communities. KGO supports Ayuda in its efforts that go well beyond the scope of legal matters to improve the lives of immigrants.
Standing With Immigrants
For these reasons, KGO is proud to support Ayuda’s spring event, so that the organization may continue to grow and succeed in its mission of helping immigrants in our community. Standing With Immigrants is Ayuda’s signature spring event where donations are gathered and awards are presented to partners, individuals and organizations who have joined in the effort to heal and rebuild the lives of our immigrant population. Speakers at the event included Tsi-tsi-ki Félix, an award-winning journalist and host of Univisión’s political show in Washington D.C. “Política Ya,” and Congressman Jamie Raskin, serving as the U.S. Representative for Maryland’s 8th congressional district. Held at the Cosmos Club in Northwest Washington D.C. on May 9th, 2019, the event brought many professionals and like-minded individuals together who are working towards the well-being and success of our immigrant community.
